Ballycannon Lodge - Croagh

The room was spacious and immaculate. The direction to the hotel could have been clearer.

We enjoyed the hotel and Croagh, had 5 fantastic days there. There was pretty friendly staff and the service was great. The restaurant was LOVELY for breakfast, we ordered amazing dishes.

The breakfast was delicious and there were a huge variety of options. Reasonably large units with a canopied bed and bathtub plus beautiful rich decor, and the staff were outstandingly accommodating.

Breakfast in a garden paradise

The spacious room was beautifully decorated and overlooked a charming garden. Mary, our host, was warm. Breakfast next door was good with plenty of local produce to choose from.

Finding the entrance was a bit tricky at first due to limited signage. A car is essential since there's not much within walking distance for evening options.

The place is super cozy with spacious rooms and an amazing shower. Mary, our host, was helpful and attentive, even noticing when I needed assistance. Breakfast options at the café next door were delicious and hearty. We had a great time visiting nearby attractions!

Charming garden centre atmosphere

I tell ya, our room was huge and comfy, real nice with a view of the garden. The folks runnin' the place treated us right and got us fresh milk for our tea. Breakfast next door had the best selection. Just wish it weren't such a trek to find the entrance, took us a minute.

Mary, the host, was warm. The cafe next door had amazing breakfast options that we couldn't resist trying!

My wife says that more towel hooks would be helpful.

The owners were super friendly and even showed me their lovely garden, quite the surprise. The room was really spacious and stylish, you know? Very impressed!

I stayed in the Family Room and it was super spacious and impeccably clean! The decor was modern and stylish, and the beds were super comfy- I really enjoyed a good night's sleep. The view of the garden was a lovely touch. Just a heads up, though, if your room faces the road, you might hear cars passing by, but it wasn't too distracting at night.

We had a wonderful night with spacious rooms and enjoyed a lovely breakfast cooked by Mary at the nearby café. The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and we also loved the cozy TV room. Just a heads up, you’ll want a car to fully enjoy the area, but trust me, it’s worth it! 🌼

The location was convenient for attending a wedding at the Woodlands. The view from the lodge was delightful. The room was a nice size and recently renovated, and it had useful amenities such as an electric kettle, climate control, and an iron. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the restaurant.

Convenient location for exploring nearby restaurants and cafes. Plenty of dining and pub options in the area. Our rooms had a great view of the garden which we really liked. 🌳
